ACCES AND PARKING

The International "Nice-Côte d'Azur" Airport connects the Principality of Monaco with more than 86 destinations throughout the world. From the Airport to Monaco, you have severals transfer options:
 

  • The Monaco Air Shuttle (Helicopter)
  • A taxi (about 70 eur)
  • The Nice-Monaco public bus (from 1 euros pP)
  • The Nice-Monaco shuttle (from 14 euros pP)
  • Rental Car – You find lot of rental agencies at your arrival, we suggest to book before your arrival at this time of the year. Airport Exit – TAKE THE DIRECTION TO GENES

    During the race day, the access road is free. Except at a specific time, the Larvotto zone will be closed by the police.

    Parking

    Monaco has 33 parkings available (all with camera and security), there are well indicated and easy to find.

    As an IRONMAN competitor, you get special discount on the parking fee. While you are visiting the IRONMAN village, pass by the Information stand and grab your discount coupons.

    We will need this coupon when you'll check out your car at the parking automatic casher.

    Parking IRONMAN special rate:
    FREE for less then 1 hour
    3 eur for less tham 4 hours
    5,50 eur from 4 hours to 24 hours

    ATTENTION:

  • The Coupon are available only one time; you have to take a new Coupon at the stand Information for every new parking.
  • During the Bike Check In the Saturday, the parking « Rose des Vents », above the Bike parc, is not recommended, please use instead the "Larvotto" or the "Grimaldi Forum", bothdirectly on the right and on the left of the Ironman area.

    Recommended IRONMAN Parking place

  • From Friday to Sunday IRONMAN Village, registration, race day:

    Parking LARVOTTO (right under the starting line) or Parking GRIMALDI FORUM

  • 18h Saturday and 20h30 Sunday Chapiteau Fontvieille for Briefing, Pasta Party,  Hawaii and Florida qualifications and Awards ceremony

    Parking STADE LOUIS II ou Parking HELIPOR The Chapiteau de Fontvieille is at the other end of Monaco. Luckily, Monaco is not huge, so you can easily walk there. You are an athlete, aren’t you? If you don’t want to walk, we have got a Shuttle service for you:
    leaving at the roundabout BEFORE the Formula 1 Tunnel (“Rond Point du Portier”, 3 mins from Larvotto) that will take you to the Chapiteau. 2 busses will shuttle you there from 18h00 till 19h00
    For the return, you can take the public CAM shuttle, the last return is at 21h00 near the Chapiteau, you can find the schedulles to the Ask Me Stand on the Village Expo or click here
  • Camping-car

    It is not allowed to park a camping-car in Monaco.
     
    If you come in camping car or with a caravan, a parking is reserved between the Monte Carlo Country Club and the Monaco Beach Hotel; this parking is located at 1 km from the Expo village and is available only day-time. (It’s not a parking camping-cars facilities _no electricity, no water_).
    At night, you will park your vehicle in special parkings for camping-cars: contact the Monaco Tourism Office to know where to park your vehicle.
     
    The campsite Romarins located in Eze welcomes tent and camping-car at 20 min drive from the Ironman village
