2009 RELAY Challenge

Last Sunday, 80 teams, so 240 competitors, took part in the 2nd Relay Challenge Monaco Ironman 70.3!

After 1.9 km of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21.1 km of running in relay, the team AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE won the race and raised the new record of the relay race in 04:24:51 (04: 31: 28 in 2008 by Team Texas Instrument).
The 2nd place goes to the Team WTS / 4VITA, followed by the team VIP LES ENFANTS DE FRANKIE 2, composed by the great champions, Pierre Frolla , Stéphane Mifsud and Benoit Z, who ran for the Monegasque association "Les Enfants de Frankie".
 
Other participants in favor of "Les Enfants de Frankie": the team of Franck Esposito, VALENTIN Tristan and Christophe Pinna finished the race in 04: 58: 10, and the Team with Bruno Philipponnat, Maga Adamsen and Kori Tarpenning finished 5th in the Mixed category in 05:20:27.
The Team FIGHT AIDS MONACO ranked 21st in 05: 15: 24. The HELLS BELLS of Alexander WURZ took the 20th overall place in 05: 18: 10.
 
The girls of the Team LET'S TRI IT keeps their title in the Women category with a time of 06:22:38 and the team WTS / 4 VITA takes the 1st place in the Mixed category in 04:33:38.
